Financial inclusion means providing financial services easily accessible to those who are excluded from them till now. Example – Rural Indian farmers do not have access to online banking or most of them hardly have a bank account. They are not aware of mutual funds or insurance schemes.
Thus bringing financial products and services accessible to every person is the aim here. Financial awareness and spreading financial literacy also form part of financial inclusion.
